THE BALL AND THE STROLLER. "I saw some kids. And they scatter all the balls in there and then they were playing. It makes me happy that even though there’s still the pandemic going on, people are like trying to like face their fear and come out. They come out slowly, with precaution like with their masks and everything, you know. I know they’re still scared, but still they come out because they want to enjoy their life. Make the kids happy. I know kids are bored." G.T.
THE SUPER GARBAGE CAN. "That’s the cart and the vacuum that we use every day. And it has everything in it like sanitize, plastic bag, compost bag, and everything. It’s like the nurses when they go to work, right? They have the stethoscope and then, you know, they wear like a uniform. So it’s just like us too, we have our equipment that we use too for killing the germs. Them they have a stethoscope to save lives. Us, we have those equipments to kill germs." G.T.
ENTRANCE KEY/CARD. "We have a key some building can be open by a card and some building can be open by the key. Why can’t we just have it all be open by a card also not only by the keys, because for the safety for all custodian. ‘Cause the key if you are not familiar with all the keys, so when you go to that building, you’re still figuring it out. And by the time… maybe somebody hit you already!" G.T.
THE FOOD. "This is the first time that I cooked in my place. I feel so happy when I’m cooking. So I invite my sister, my niece, and my nephew every Friday. I say, “Okay! I’ll make food. You come!” I’m so sad because I live by myself, so they will come and eat. We don’t eat rice, we eat sweet potato. I took that picture to make me feel like I’m very good at cooking and that I know now how to do it." E.O.
LEADERSHIP. "She is explaining to everybody that we’re having a coffee. Because we have a coffee and we have that donut. That’s like our leadership over there. Every day, I see [co-worker's name] and me. Anything talking about funny things. You gotta have somebody around especially in the work because it’s hard to be doing by yourself." S.D.
THE HANDSOME GUY. "That is my favorite nephew. He is already 31, but the mind is very young. But I think he’s smart too because he used to stay in ACRS with the old ladies and say, “Oh, mommy. I’m a teacher to the old ladies.” And he’s always very excited to say something. We eat together every Friday." E.O.
THE UKULELE. "And that motor too. Ever since we were in the Philippines, she has loved motors. She used to sing by herself sitting down because our house was a little one. I took that picture because she likes it! So when she let me do that, I feel very very happy. My health, my mind when she’s talking to me and let me take her picture… all my problems with her will go away." E.O.
CLEANING. "That... one remind me when I was working in Paul Allen. I do like 10 refrigerator clean in one day. I just did that for like 25 minutes cleaning. That’s all you can do; wipe it down, turn it off the frigerator, and the wings. I enjoy working believe me. I’m not perfect, but it’s good. I mean, excellent." S.D.
